Upon arrival at Camp Aspemo, you’ll be warmly greeted and provided with high-quality outdoor clothing and boots to ensure you stay comfortable throughout your experience. Before we head out onto the trails, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at our world of dog sledding. Our friendly guides will introduce you to our beloved huskies, share how we care for them, and explain the basics of sled training and dog welfare. Then, it’s time to meet your team of eager dogs! Our experienced mushers will give you a thorough briefing on how to drive a dog sled safely and confidently. You’ll ride in pairs, taking turns as musher and passenger, with the chance to switch halfway through the journey. The scenic trail winds through breathtaking Arctic landscapes, covering a distance of 3–4 kilometers. The sledding itself lasts around 30 minutes – enough to create memories that will stay with you forever. After your adventure, warm up in our cozy dining cabin with fresh coffee, tea, and a taste of traditional Norwegian cinnamon cake. When it’s time to leave, we’ll ensure you return safely to Tromsø.
