Minimal light pollution

Our Camp is located in an area where light pollution is minimal. This means that the conditions for observing the Aurora Borealis are excellent.

 

You will be picked up in Tromsø. Arriving at Camp you will meet the dogs and start preparing for your adventure. Our experienced guides will teach you how to ride your sled safely, before we head out into the wilderness.

 

Driving a team of dogs in complete darkness is an extraordinary and intense  experience. Viewing everything, only lit by the light of your headlamp is a unique way of enjoying the arctic. If we are lucky the Northern Lights will show its most beautiful colours.

 

During your adventure you will experience the unique arctic scenery surrounding our Camp. We will stop for pictures, before heading back where the host awaits you with delicious local food based on arctic commodities.
